Tetrachromats are persons who can see four sources of light – red, green, blue and ultraviolet – from the light spectrum. This phenomenon is more common in women. It is a fact that men who are colour blinds may have a tetrachromat mother. |

This is capability to recognize and replicate a sound at the exact pitch without hearing it. People having this ability can classify sounds into categories and remember the pitch. It is not sure whether this capability is genetic, as a child learning music from an early age is likely to pick up this ability. |

Supertasters are people who have superior sense of taste. A supertaster can perceive bitterness very accurately out of the 5 tastes - sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami. They often detest bitter foods. Majority of supertasters are women and Africans and Asians are also good in taste. |
