The story revolves round a lazy slave called Psudolos who was from Rome. He had only one wish, which was to purchase freedom for himself from his master. One day, he suddenly gets to know that his young master has fallen in love with a girl who belonged to the slave dealer Lucus, who specialized in gorgeous women. Pseudolos then goes for a deal where he would get freedom if he could bring that girl to his master.
Zero Mostel plays the roll of Pseudolos and Michael Crawford is the young hero. It has been directed by Richard Lester and written by Melvin Frank and Michael Pertwee. It is an Oscar winning movie.
