This movie is an action thriller released in the year 1974 in the USA. The movie wonderfully captures the devastating effects of a huge earthquake on the lives of different people in Los Angeles. The lives of some of them are good and some bad, yet all of them struggles through their life to manage the effects of rapidly moving tectonic plates under the city. It focuses on a construction engineer Stuart Graff, who separated himself from his wife and is having an affair with another woman called Denice Marshall. Stuart’s wife asks his father who is Stuart’s employer to use his influence and keep Stuart away from Denice. The movie also depicts the life of a grocery store manager who is after a girl called Rosa, the sister of a motorcyclist.
Mark Robson has directed it. It is a very famous movie with the famous Oscar Award to its name.
