Although the prequel of X-Men Origins: Wolverine haven't excelled on any level, the mutants franchise continues unabated.
The folks at The Playlist inform us that for the director's job of Wolverine sequel we find two directors, Matt Reeves, who has supplied us with Cloverfield and Let Me In, and Tony Scott, the director in charge of Top Gun, Spy Game and Man on Fire.
The two were part from a list composed by Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker), Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) and Daniel Espinoza (Snabba Cash). It seems that only Scott and Reeves have past the negotiations... or maybe the only ones who have accepted the offer.
It's hard to believe that, though courted by the producers, Bigelow would have signed for a project like Wolverine 2.
We are also informed that the action of the movie will take place in Japan. As is expected, Hugh Jackman has already signed for the role of Logan.
