Paula Abdul, who announced that she won't return to American Idol anymore on its ninth season, has been courted by other networks to join their respective programs.
One of the networks that show interest in getting Abdul's service is ABC. Asked if it's possible for the former Idol judge to be one of the judges of Dancing with the Stars, ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson stated, "Absolutely. I would love that."
"I was a little stunned by the decision, and we would love to have her on Dancing," McPherson dished at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Pasadena. "I think she's a huge talent. There's a sensitivity and an empathy that balances out Idol, and we'd love to get a piece of that."
