The head coach of the United States national team, Jurgen Klinsmann started preparations for his team with a game against Azerbaijan in San Francisco. The final score was 2-0. After a first half without scoring, the midfielder Mix Diskerud opened the scoring in the 75th minute before Aron Johannsson added a second. Klinsmann's team will face Turkey and Nigeria before heading to World Cup where they are up against Ghana, Portugal and Germany in Group G.
