Adam Sandler's costar Leslie Mann revealed the comedian's secret trick to catch a woman's heart during his single days.
Mann, who plays the flame of Sandler in the upcoming film Funny People, disclosed, "I actually met Adam before I met Judd," referring to husband Judd Apatow, the director of the comedy flick which will hit cinemas on July 31.
"He hit on me in a nightclub. He sent over a note on a napkin written in ketchup, like 'nice back' or something like that," she went on. "His friend brought it over and said, 'Hey, want to come over and say 'hi' to my friend?' I was like, 'Why should I get up and go to his table? Why doesn't he come to my table?' It was like a standoff and neither one of us (would back down). We didn't talk to each other."
After which, the actress started dating Apatow and the two met the "Ketchup Man" at a party together. "It was awkward between Adam and (me) that night," Mann noted.
