Alyssa Campanella, a beauty from California, won the latest Miss USA competition last night in Las Vegas. The competition was fierce, Alyssa topping over 50 other girls in order to win.
More important, Alyssa will represent the United States at Miss Universe competition in September 2011.
When asked about marijuana and if this drug should be legalized, Campanella said that medical marijuana should be legal for her benefic attributes, but otherwise banned. Looks like Alyssa is a natural politician as well.
The other winners of show were Kia Ben-et Hampton, Miss Kentucky who won Miss Congeniality USA title and while Miss Arizona Brittany Dawn Brannon who won Miss Photogenic USA.
The judges Caroline Manzo (Real Housewives of New Jersey), Lil Jon (famous rapper), Tyson Chandler, Rocco DiSpirito (chef) and Mariel Hemingway (actress) had a hard time in picking up this year winner but when Alyssa took the stage wearing nothing else but a turquoise gown and a blue and white bikini, she sealed the deal.by FW Editor |
