America's Got Talent Winner Excited For Las Vegas Show

Saturday, September 19 2009

Kevin Skinner was declared the winner of America's Got Talent beating the opera singer Barbara Padilla on the finale, which featured the performances of Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis, Shakira, among others.

After the show, Skinner exclaimed, "It's more than words can explain. I'm 35, so I have been chasing the dream for awhile, and it hasn't come true (until now)... I had never experienced anything like that and probably never will again."

The former chicken-catcher is looking forward to America's Got Talent variety show in Vegas this October, "I'm excited about it. I have always been a performer... If you’re a performer you know how that feels. It's good. It's like flying a kite. It's natural. You sing to the people, you sing to your fans, you try to be real."
