Angelina Jolie represented the UN Refugee Agency as she visited Iraq on Thursday. She went to a camp situated outside Baghdad where several families currently stay to get away from the violence happening in their country.
Jolie asked one family if they are still willing to return to their home. One family member replied, "No way. Our neighbors returned and their three daughters were killed. Why is this happening to us?"
The acclaimed actress approved of what she heard. "They are right to feel that it is not fair. I want to come back and find you in a better place and in a different situation. You need help not because you are poor, but because you are the future of Iraq."
