Angelina Jolie is the best for James Cameron's Cleopatra

Angelina Jolie is the best for James Cameron's Cleopatra

Tuesday, November 23 2010

"Angelina Jolie and Cleopatra - to me, that's like a slam-dunk," says James.

"Whether I wind up doing it or not, I think it's going to be a great project. It's a subject that's always fascinated me. I've been talking to Sony about it but no decisions have been made. But it sounds hot!"

In order to bring Titanic once again to the big screen, Cameron had to turn down the chance to direct another Terminator.

"I've moved on from everything that's already been done. The only thing to me that has any kind of franchise life to it at this point is Avatar. With Titanic we are going back and doing it in 3D, which is a little bit of a creative revision of history. We're not going to add anything to it, it's just going to be exactly the cut but it'll be in 3D so it will be a different experience." he said.

"But the other stuff I don't feel the need. I had a choice when I was finishing Titanic to do another Terminator film and it just didn't feel right. So I've moved on from that." added Cameron.
