Brad Pitt has truly become famous and close to the people's hearts in New Orleans because of his Make It Right charity that aims to build houses for the affected locals whose abodes were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina years ago. Many citizens in the area even wanted him to become their mayor.
When asked by NBC Today show's Ann Curry if he's willing to serve, the actor replied, "Yeah, yeah." The he added, "I'm running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform. I don't have a chance."
But later on as their conversation became serious, Pitt humbly conceded, "I don't have a chance... It's not what I do best."
