by Kaustav Das Modak

According to Nielsen Media Research, among four prominent channels in US, only CBS has

been able to increase the number of viewers and become the most-watched channel in the

United States of America.

The success is attributed to hit shows like "Two and a Half Men" and "CSI", soaring on

which CBS recorded 11.76 million viewers this year with 11 percent rise over previous year.

As such, this is sixth time in the last seven years that CBS has received top viewership in

the country.

The other prominent broadcasters in the market are Fox, which recorded 9.8 million

viewership with a fall of 13 percent of last year. ABC and NBC had viewerships of 8.95

million and 7.84 million respectively.
