In an interview with Empire magazine,Chris Evans, agreed to provide some information about details of the production Captain America: The First Avenger.
As a result, the actor cast in the lead role, talked about the super-hero costume:
"It's a great costume. Considering it's red, white and blue, and that's traditionally tight, and could be pompous and exaggerated - and taking into account the fact that the film is set in the '40s and '50s - the designers have done a excellent job trying to make it cool ...
I believe that everybody will think that it looks very good. They did a bad job with the distribution, but the costume is perfect. "
Asked to compare this new costume with the one for movie Fantastic Four, Evans said the following:
"In the costume of FF you could move quite easily. This one is a little bit too heavy. It has the same simplicity as that of FF, but it should never be different from the way it's now.
Any uniform during the Second World War is supposed to be heavier, and I think this gives the character more authenticity. "
