The folks at The Playlist inform us that the Oscar winner actor, Christoph Waltz is negotiating with representatives of Sony Pictures for the role of Dr. Connors / The Lizard for the new Spider-Man.
Unlike other comic book villain of universes, Connors is included in the list of those who are evil, destructive, or simply unintentionally fools. Connors is a surgeon who loses an arm during the war.
Returned to the civilian world, the former surgeon, now researcher is trying to raise the amputated arm by a chemical formula - he copied the cell regeneration of a reptilian. The experiment is successful until a point, but after a while he becomes Connors The Lizard.
Initially the role was offered to Michael Fassbender, but the actor prefers the role of Magneto in the prequel, X-Men: First Class.by FW Editor |
