Legendary folk musician, Pete Seeger, will turn 90 on the 3rd of May. To pay tribute to this great musician, lots of artists are coming together for a big performance at the Madison Square Garden, New York.
The proceeds of this concert, named The Clearwate Concert, will go to the environmental organization Hudson River Sloop Clearwater. Pete Seeger was the founder of this organization.
Among the artists participating in this concert are Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Tweedy, Emmylou Harris, John Mellencamp, Eddie Vedder, Dave Matthews and many others. Pete Seeger and Tao Rodriguez-Seeger, his grandson, will also perform at the concert.
