Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, the duo behind the well-known country act Brooks & Dunn have announced that they will split up after a last tour next year.
"After 20 years of making music and riding this trail together, we have agreed as a duo that it's time call it a day," the duo were quoted as saying on Monday.
However, they have made it a point that there is no other reason behind this break up. "It's just time" as they said it. Brooks & Dunn have also urged their fans not to listen to any rumours they hear as the reason for this break up.
Brooks & Dunn are famous as the best-selling musicians of the country music scene. Around 22.3 million copies of their albums were sold in the US alone. They have reached #1 spot on country singles charts in the US for as many as 20 times.
