DJ AM MTV Series To Start On October 12

Tuesday, October 6 2009

Before he died, DJ AM, born Adam Goldstein, shot the MTV series entitled Gone Too Far featuring his own battle with drug addiction and his effort to help drug dependents recover from their situations.

The show will air on October 12 at 10 p.m. It will also highlight the negativities brought by drugs and how it affects the relationships of the dependents and their families and friends.

Goldstein's family released a statement allowing the program to be shown on MTV. The statement read, "It is our hope through airing this show that people will get to see the side of Adam that we knew and loved, not just the celebrity DJ, but the honest and caring person who gave so much of himself to help others. The decision to air the show has been difficult, but we do this with the profound belief that it will inspire others to seek help."
