Daniel Day-Lewis, the next enemy of Sherlock Holmes?

Daniel Day-Lewis, the next enemy of Sherlock Holmes?

Monday, August 30 2010

For now is only a rumor (the first ones who published this story are those from the tabloid The Sun), the fact that Daniel Day-Lewis might appear in the role of Professor Moriarty, the great enemy of the detective Sherlock Holmes. We hope this rumor will be confirmed soon by the producers.

Initially, Guy Ritchie would have suggested that Brad Pitt might play the Moriarty, but the actor has never confirmed.

At this point nobody knows the challenges with which the evil teacher will test the most famous detective of Great Britain, but we might found out soon: filming will begin in October and until then we should see at least a synopsis for the new film.

Robert Downey Jr. will return to the role of Holmes and the world premiere of the film is scheduled for December 2011.
