Though actor David Carradine died in Thailand, where the FBI has no jurisdiction, Carradine's family is seeking FBI's assistance regarding the ongoing investigation of the actor's death.
In rare occasions, FBI offers assistance to local authorities when the family of the victim requests for it or when there's a suspected foul play regarding the death of Americans abroad.
Mark Geragos, the lawyer of Carradine's brother Keith, said that his client "wants authorities to investigate his brother's death, and to determine if anyone else was involved."
The actor's family is worried with the situation because they are getting dissimilar details from Thai authorities. The Associated Press reported that police Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewprecha said, "It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not, or he died of suffocation or heart failure."
