| Depeche Mode Gears Up For New Album And Tour |

The 80's electronic music band, Depeche Mode, is all set to release the new album titled "Sounds of the Universe". This is the 12th album to add to the discography of the band. Recording for this album started in 2008 and is being produced by Ben Hilier. The first single, "Wrong", from this album has been released on February 21 this year. "Sounds of the Universe" is set for release on April 21, 2009, in the USA and a da before that it will have an international release.
In October 2008, Depeche Mode had declared that they were planning to set out on their first stadium tour. The tour has been named as "Tour of the Universe" and will take the band across 21 countries where they will be performing in 28 cities. The tour will begin in May, 2009.
