Faisol Abdullah has designed a dress studded with 751 diamonds. The price tag for the dress has been set at $30 million. Despite recession in global markets and economies suffering a tough time, Abdullah is sure that people will be willing enough to buy this multi-million dollar dress.
Abdullah has named the dress as "The Nightingale of Kuala Lumpur". He is preparing it for showcasing at the STYLO Fashion Festival which will be held in April in Kuala Lumpur. The diamonds for this extravagant dress is being supplied by Mouawad, diamond merchants from the middle east.
STYLO CEO, Nancy Yeoh, feels that the dress won't lack customers saying "there are still enough rich people who would want to buy". Mouawad's chief in Asia, Antoine Bakhache mentioned "it is an investment for the super rich".
