The father of Drew Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio who was found dead in an empty bathtub in 2004, broke his silence about the incident.
Though Henry Savio was not able to speak to his daughter for a long time, he firmly believed that Kathleen's death was not an accident. He further mentioned that he stood by his belief that Peterson killed her daughter after Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, disappeared two years ago.
"It broke my heart. All this time I didn't get to see her, and now she's not here anymore," the 73-year-old said. During her guesting on Good Morning America, Sue Doman, Kathleen's sister, also said, "He's an idiot. This is a very serious situation. This is something that has turned our lives upside down. He needs to face reality," referring to her late sister's former husband.
Glenn Selig, the publicist of Peterson, revealed that the former police sergeant "was mentally prepared for the idea that he could be arrested. He prepared for a worst-case scenario in his mind, and he had a plan in place. Preparing, for him, was planning that he had a place for his kids to go and that they would be well taken care of."
