The slowdown of the US economy has made the media to shift the view to the problems of the common people rather than voicing the needs and deeds of the Wall Street alone.
A few days ago, host Tom Brokaw was quoted saying that he would take to the road to collect stories. Brokaw also thinks that people are struggling and finding their way around economic obstacles.
Lot of audience complained against viewing of international destinations on the travel show Today on NBC. They want NBC to showcase popular US locations and focus more on the country. Media giant ABC are showing the story of a cowboy hat manufacturer in Texas on the show World News with Charles Gibson.
Reportedly, the television media have shifted their attention to the common people to defend against the popularity of internet news media.
