Eric Roberts- Legalize Marijuana

Friday, August 12 2011

About one year ago, actor Eric Roberts was completing a stint in Celebrity Rehab for marijuana dependency. Now, he's pushing for its legalizations, although that will never happen.
Roberts, who made waves a few months ago for calling Kate Gosselin a child abuser, says if alcohol is legal, marijuana should be, given the infallible logic that "alcohol has destroyed whole civilizations whereas pot has only made a few hippies happy."
According to Eric Roberts, "Pot remains illegal because no one has figured out how to make it profitable for the government yet ... it's political, not protective."
