| Evangeline Lilly Joins The Hobbit |

The Hobbit production team announced another cast member: Evangeline Lilly . The beautiful actress, well known for portraying Kate on TV-series Lost, will play the role of a woodland elf named Tauriel. Tauriel is a new character to the series. The movie producer Peter Jackson made the announcement on his Facebook page:"Her name means 'daughter of Mirkwood' and, beyond that, we must leave you guessing! What is not a secret is how talented and compelling an actress Evangeline is; we are thrilled and excited she will be the one to bring our first true Sylvan Elf to life."
Evangeline co-starred on Lost with Dominic Monaghan, who also played an important role in The Lord of the Rings. Lilly and Dominic dated for awhile too.by FW Editor |
