Famous for thousands of portraits of celebrities, Andy Warhol's exhibition will open in Paris. The exhibition, titled "Warhol's Wide World" will feature 140 of such portraits that the artist had created till he died in 1987.
The line up of the images include famous stars from Saint Laurent to Marylin Monroe. There is a big hype about the exhibition. The images that will be featured are considered as some of the most popular works of modern art.
Warhol had wished to organize an exhibition where he would portray all the images he had. But the curator Alain Cueff feels that it would have been quite impossible to place a thousand images in one gallery.
The exhibition will be held from 18th March at the Grand Palais.
