According to E! Online, on 25.06.2010 we celebrate one year since the death of actress Farrah Fawcett.
The friends and family of the actress who died because of colon cancer at the age of 62 years have commemorated the event by baptizing a foundation with her name dedicated to research in the cancer field.
Her life partner Ryan O'Neal and son Redmond O'Neal were seen together for several minutes at Westwood Memorial Cemetery in Los Angeles, then joined Farrah Fawcett best friends - Alana Stewart and the daughter of Ryan O'Neal named Tatum O'Neal in the new Beverly Hills office of the foundation which aims to fund alternative treatments to fight cancer and improve quality of life for patients stricken by this disease.
Alana Stewart said that the star of the television series "Charlie's Angels" founded the foundation while was in battle with this disease, which is why she wants to continue the work of her beloved friend: "If I can help further the mission of Farrah with this foundation I'm proud to do it.
I feel like it would be a guardian angel who watches over me, smiling from above us and she is very happy that she died for a noble cause. She felt she could help a lot of people and provide them inspiration, courage and hope.by FW Editor |
