George Michael is painting his prison walls

Thursday, October 28 2010

According to some rumors, the singer has landed himself a part time job by painting prison walls.

George Michael, who has been jailed for eight weeks for smashing his car into a shop after smoking cannabis, is being paid several pounds per week to paint the walls at HMP Highpoint in Suffolk, according to Britain's News of the World newspaper.

"Just like the other lags, George is working during the day. He's painting the walls inside the prison," a source told.

"It's like the Forth Bridge, it just needs painting over and over. But it keeps the inmates busy and takes their minds off how much time they've got left to serve."

According to soe new report, George Michael has abandoned a bid for bail last week and is expected to serve a total four weeks behind bars.
