Gilles Marini's New Role on Brothers & Sisters

Gilles Marini's New Role on Brothers & Sisters

Tuesday, May 26 2009

by Joe Halls

Gilles Marini, famous as Dancing With the Stars runner-up and the fling of Kim Cattrall in the film Sex and the City, is set to star on ABC TV series Brothers & Sisters as the screen partner of Rachel Griffiths.

Marini confirmed, "We just sealed the deal. I got a call that producers wanted to write a part for me. I'm thrilled it worked out and that I get to prove myself. The writers and I had a long conversation, and they wanted to know who I am, inside and out."

As for his feelings in joining the great cast of the family drama program, he stated, "Not stressed or anything -- just so happy! After doing Nip/Tuck (last year), I'm more oiled and know what's going to happen. I haven't met Rachel yet, but I know it's going to be a great (partnership)."
