If Guillermo del Toro left fans waiting with The Hobbit project, they will certainly see his work more quickly than expected.
Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, a remake of the 1973 television movie, whose script and production are signed by Guillermo Del Toro, announces a new date launch on January 21, 2011.
The film production began in 2009, and it's being directed by the comic book author Troy Nixey. In the movie we will see actors like Katie Holmes and Guy Pearce.
However, the decision of not dropping the project made by Disney studios let us now that Nixey, a novice filmmaker, had a good start under the leadership of Del Toro.
Another interesting thing is the return of the actress Katie Holmes who apparently disappeared from the big screen. Here, she plays the role of Guy Pearce girlfriend.
The movie subject is the discovery made by a girl of strange creatures living in her home. But this time, the creatures are far from friendly.by FW Editor |
