Halle Berry - cameo appearance in The Simpsons

Thursday, August 19 2010

WENN.com informs us that actress Halle Berry (43 years), originally from Cleveland will have a cameo appearance in an episode of the popular animated series "The Simpsons" episode inspired by the annual awards ceremony of the American Academy of Film and which will be broadcast on the Fox TV channel in early 2011.

She was an Academy Award winner in 2002 for the role of Leticia Musgrove in "Monster's Ball, Halle Berry will play her own role in an episode in which she will give a golden statue to Bart Simpson and his father Homer Simpson.

The producer Al Jean told Entertainment Weekly.com that it is a satire on the distinction of two Oscar winners, who are struggling to reach the first stage to receive the precious trophy.

The female movie star from films like "Things We Lost in the Fire," "Catwoman," "Perfect Strangers" and "Gothika" is not the only representative of the film industry to be found in various episodes of the 22nd season.

The actor Paul Rudd (41 years) will play Dr. Zander, a psychiatrist who treats Homer Simpson.
