Hamlet Starring Jude Law is Coming to Broadway

Wednesday, July 1 2009

English actor Jude Law received mostly positive reviews in his portrayal in Donmar Warehouse production of Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Charles Spencer stated in the Telegraph, "(He) joins the modern pantheon of spellbinding sweet princes with a performance of rare vulnerability and emotional openness." Critic Benedict Nightingale, on the other hand, described the actor "robust and tough."

The great news is Hamlet will be showcased in Broadway this September, as reported by The New York Times.

It is scheduled to play a 12-week run at the Broadhurst Theater. Previews will be also provided which will commence on September 12.
