Katherine Heigl described leaving of the distribution of the Grey's Anatomy show as "a difficult choice."
Heigl, who perform as Izzie, left the series this year after she never returned from her maternity leave.
Heigl said to Daily Record that her departure came as a result of her desire to spend more time with her daughter, Naleigh, which she adopted in September.
"I know that the fans, writers, the cast and crew are disappointed. It was a really difficult choice. The only consolation that I have is that I spent these months with Naleigh, which cemented our relationship, "said Heigl. However, she says that she still feels attracted to Izzie:
"I will create small stories in my head about what will Izzie do, where and with whom she will het in contact in the hospital."by FW Editor |
