An impressive galaxy of kid-friendly stars stood up in Los Angeles stage. Nickelodeon was handing out 19 orange blimps on the 23rd Annual Slimefest. There were to be honored the best in movies, sports, television, and music.
Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift were among the night's biggest winners, dreaming about scooping up two prizes.
As for Robert Pattinson's fans, we say sorry, because the kids did not choose him to be the winner.
The Cutest Couple Award was taken by Lautner, being assisted by Kristen Stewart. Lautner was also awarded with the prize for Favorite Movie Actor. Pattinson was into direct competition in the first category, but he was not even nominated in the second one. not even Brack and Michelle could not compete with the power couple, Jacob and Bella.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon brought another unexpected surprise. It failed to win the big prize. The Favorite Movie award went to Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.
Taylor Swift became the winner in the Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Song, for "You Belong With Me."
Among others, Swift beat out Miley Cyrus at this section for the prize. Cyrus missed out on the Favorite TV Actress award. The prize went to Selena Gomez. Despite that, the actress didn't walk away empty-handed. She took home the award for Favorite Movie Actress.
Meantime, First Lady Michelle Obama brought up some grandeur to this traditionally broadcast the moment she accepted via pretaped video in the first-ever Big Help Award. This could be possible thanks to her family-oriented get-fit campaign, Let's Move!
Rihanna was also on the stage performing a medley of hits, being accompanied by a giant dancing robot. There were also huge names on the Los Angeles stage: Justin Bieber, the night's host, Kevin James with his pal Adam Sandler, performing a special redition of "Get Slimed Tonight".by Famouswhy |
