Howard Stern is Not Guilty

Thursday, May 14 2009

by Joe Halls

Howard Stern, who was the lawyer of the late Anna Nicole Smith, was ruled as not guilty in L.A. Superior Court, together with two doctors, after allegedly handing "known addict" Smith of prescription drugs prior to her overdose in 2007.

"He's not a doctor. He's not signing prescriptions. That's the nature of the charge, and we're debating it," Steven Sadow, Stern's attorney, said. "We have nothing to hide. We have no problem whatsoever giving them all the handwriting they want."

"(Howard is) doing the best he can under the circumstances. We want this case moving forward. The faster we get this case into the courtroom, the faster he can get back to his life -- when a jury decides he's not guilty because he didn't do anything wrong," Sadow continued.
