Because he loved what he was doing, Curly Howard worked a lot near his brothers and made many movies and also appeared often on the stage. In one day, Curly felt that he can't play and everything that he was doing was very hard.
His brother put Curly on the hospital to some analyses and after a seveeral number of analyses the doctors diagnostificated Curly suffering with hypertension, a retinal hemorrhage and obesity. It was a bad news for Curly because he can`t go immediately to the stage, he needed to stay home and follow some treatments and especially to rest. This situation was very hard for Curly. After a few weeks of stating home Curly come back to work but nothing was the same. His movements, his words, his way to speak were different, slowly than before.
All the people noticed that, but he continued to work. After he had another appearances on the stage, Curly had another stroke and he needed again to go at the hospital. This time he spent much time there and he never came back to the stage. Stating there, Curly started to have memory loss and he was moved on a mental hospital. On January 18, Curly suffered a big cerebral hemorrhage and the doctors couldn't do anything.
Curly died in that day, on the hospital from San Gabriel, California and his funeral was at Home of Peace Cemetery in East Los Angeles. It was a very painful lost. Rest in peace!by FW Editor |
