by Kaustav Das Modak

Folk rock duo from Atlanta, The Indigo Girls, led by Emily Saliers and Amy Ray, have released a new album, titled "Poseidon and the Bitter Bug" without the help of any recording label. They recorded the album within a time span of 3 weeks.

The duo were deserted by their recording label and, thereafter, they gathered up the courage to make an independent release of their creations. They are aiming the internet to spread the name of their new album.

The band credit their producer, Mitchell Froom, for the weird title of the album. The album was released on Tuesday.
