Jay-Z, born Shawn Corey Carter, reminisced his life way back when he was still in Brooklyn selling cracks.
In the latest issue of O Magazine, he told Oprah Winfrey, "You become addicted to the feeling, the uncertainty and adrenaline and danger of that lifestyle."
Now that he has achieved immense success, he vows to go back to his old neighborhood and share to others how he did it, "If anyone made it, you never knew it. That's why I've always said that if I became successful, I'd come back here, grab somebody, and show him how it can be done."
The media mogul shares a different view of Brooklyn these days with his wife Beyonce Knowles, "There's a great pizza spot we go to every Sunday. It's our tradition. It's a small place in Brooklyn, you can bring your own wine, and there are candles there. It's a nice date."
