The twenty-seventh birthday of Jennifer Hudson became very memorable when boyfriend David Otunga proposed to her. On the other hand, Hudson returned the gesture by proposing to Otunga on his birthday as well.
The singer did her passionate move last month with a 5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring that she designed herself. Lane recalled, "Jennifer wanted to give him something really special when she asked David to marry her. It was very sentimental and romantic… They are really in love."
The ring is "masculine, yet has a lot of sparkle." The jeweler narrated, "Jennifer and I went through lots of different designs, talked about it a lot and she was very open."
Lastly, he described the couple as "so lovey-dovey and so sweet to each other. He was very protective of her and they were so in love."
