Jennifer Hudson recently told Essence magazine her relationship with her mother Darnell Donerson, who died with her brother and nephew in Chicago seven months ago.
She said, "I was always a mama's baby. I'd go and sleep in her bed until I was 15 years old." The award-winning singer and actress' biggest worry, according to her fiance David Otunga, was the idea of answering inquires about the murder of her family members.
"We don't talk about it," Otunga revealed. "In this time when things seem so uncertain for her, there is certainty in our bond. She doesn't have to worry about losing me. I'm always going to be right here."
Above all the trials that Hudson experienced, "the thing that keeps me going is knowing that God is in control," she conferred. "It's like, if He placed me here then I must be prepared."
