The recent breakup rumors between Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy are "not annoying, it's hurtful," the Ghost Whisperer star said.
"It's really hurtful that people say that because he is like the most awesome person," Hewitt gushed at the Children’s Institute Hosts Poker for a Cause on Saturday. "I really hate that people would make it seem like he's not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well."
The couple has been together for eight months already. The 30-year-old set the record straight, "We are just trying to be really happy. It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there."
