Jesse Eisenberg will host Saturday Night Live

Thursday, January 27 2011

Jesse Eisenberg, who is nominated for Best Actor category at the Academy Awards, will appear on January 29 with musical guest Nicki Minaj. This will mark his first appearance on the live show.

Former SNL cast member Dana Carvey will return to Rockefeller Center in New York to lead the Feb. 5 episode. Linkin Park will perform, making it the band's second appearance, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

We recently informed you that Eisenberg is afraid that his career will end to soon.

"It's very nice to be a part of something that's been received this well. Although it just kind of sets you up for a great disappointment later in life." he said.

"It's strange to meet people who are very recognizable in a way where they've also seen me in something. Every time you see somebody you've seen in a movie, it's a little strange. You're seeing them in a different context." added the actor.
