Jessica Simpson was in Japan when the country was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 on Tuesday.
"Thought I was hallucinating," she immediately posted on Twitter. "I have never felt anything like this in my life. Laying in bed watching CNN."
The singer-actress is in Japan to work on her new VH1 reality show The Price of Beauty which tackles women's clamor to achieve physical beauty.
The National Weather Agency reported that the quake struck southwest of Japan specifically Tsuruga Bay at 5:07 a.m local time.
