Jimmy Fallon Graduated From College

Monday, May 11 2009

by Joe Halls

The host of NBC late-night talk show Jimmy Fallon finally graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in communications. He got his diploma together with 1,800 students, who were present at the College of Saint Rose's commencement ceremony, at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

Fallon also served as the keynote speaker of the event saying, "There's always going to be someone out there like that movie critic, who doesn't believe in you or who thinks your head is too big or you're not smart enough. But those are the people you need to ignore, and those are the times you need to just keep doing what you love doing."

Before he finished college, the comedian presented a portfolio of his achievements and job highlights in L.A. to college officials showing them that his experiences on TV and film satisfied his college's main curriculum.

The 34-year-old got his degree after he dropped out in 1995 to pursue his career in Los Angeles.
