John Mayer's friend Rob Dyrdek, who stars on MTV's Fantasy Factory, cleared out the speculations that his pal has no plans of reuniting with ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson.
"Absolutely not." He went on saying that Mayer "wouldn't rule out" any possible reunion. That was only Dyrdek's opinion after all. "I'm just saying (I don't think so)."
Reports came out weeks before the breakup of Simpson and NFL player Tony Romo that Mayer had been texting the songstress which started the quarrels between the two. In May, a source even confirmed to People that Mayer and Simpson indeed "have been in touch."
