For the first time, John Travolta spoke out publicly about the coping mechanisms his family is doing in relation to his son's sudden death on January 2. "We've been working very hard every day as a family to heal," said the actor in his interview with USA Today. He added that he and his wife Kelly Preston are attending religious counseling sessions daily.
Now, the full attention of Travolta is devoted to his 9-year-old daughter Ella Bleu, who will be featured in the upcoming film Old Dogs with her parents. "We decided it was okay to come out and promote, to introduce her to the world and to give her a beautiful future in film," he narrated.
Relating how hard it is to cope with Jett's lost, Preston noted, "It's a tricky thing. Sometimes, something that's right for the moment is not right the next day. Being with people who are important to you, being with people that you love, I think that's what has primarily helped us the most. Sometimes, being alone, too."
