Julia Roberts, who is dubbed as one of the most Hindu-friendly actors in Hollywood, caused much distraction among the Hindus in an Indian village.
For the Hindus, September is one of the most sacred months in a year. The filming of the actress' new flick Eat, Pray, Love in India disrupted the worshippers in Pataudi, the town near Delhi, during their religious festival, Navratri, as reported by BBC News.
For security purposes, the authorities in the area did not allow the worshippers to enter the Hari Mandir temple to celebrate an important festival. The filming was considered by some media as a "presidential" operation because Roberts made use of a bulletproof car, helicopter, among others.
