Amidst reports that Justin Timberlake may be cast for the lead role in the upcoming movie featuring the Green Lantern superheroes, a source confirmed that the singer did not even make it during the preliminary screen tests.
The actors who are reportedly the finalists to play the role of Hal Jordan are Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto.
Another source said, "It's actually quite funny in the sense that all three of those men have been linked to Scarlett Johansson. Ryan is married to her, Bradley had an affair with her in He's Just Not That Into You, and Jared had a fling with her."
The source added that the role will most likely go to Reynolds saying, "Ryan Reynolds is going to be cast. He's as good as got the job. They are literally just waiting to sign contracts and get all the final details tied up, but the role is his."
