Rapper Kanye West gave voice to the character Kenny West in The Cleveland Show, a spin-off show from Family Guy. Kenny spent nearly 3 hours of studio time for this effort. Mike Henry, executive producer, says that Kanye West is a big fan of Family Guy. Kanye also wrote in his blog that he is interested about the new show when it was being proposed to be launched.
This is the first time for Kanye to voice an animated character. Richard Appel, another executive producer, said that Kanye also had suggestions about a line which he didn't like and wanted to change. Appel adds that Kanye was modest and asked them in a nice way about his idea of changing the line. Kanye West feels good from his new venture and would be happy to return back to the show.
The episode will be aired in 2010.
Last week, Kanye West had performed on Indian Idol.
